There is a General Election coming up soon, which means there could be very many MPs leaving Parliament and equal numbers of new MPs voted in. It’s our job to make sure that all MPs understand and can use the system regulating their business costs and expenses, so that they get the support they need to do their jobs in Parliament and in their constituencies.
In the run-up to the General Election, we are going to have more to do than ever before, helping retiring and defeated MPs to close down their offices and helping newly elected MPs to get started and onto our system for the first time.
Looking after 650 MPs and over 3,000 staff is no mean feat. And, with the extra work involved in the Election, we need to take on many new members of staff. We want people with the drive, passion and skills to make IPSA’s preparations a success.
